My Beliefs  We lived with God as spirits before we were born. We loved Him and He loved us. God created a plan that would enable us to become more like him and enjoy greater happiness. It wouldn’t be without risk though because some of us might make choices that would further separate us from God. We would all fall short of perfection and would require someone to make up the difference. Jesus, who was able to live a perfect life volunteered to be our Savior because we could not do it alone.  Lucifer also offered a plan. His plan was that we would all come to Earth without agency, or the ability to choose for ourselves. He said he wouldn’t lose any souls, but also desired to usurp God’s honor, power and glory. He and His followers were cast to Earth as spirits, without obtaining physical bodies. They want us to be miserable like themselves.  God revealed His gospel to prophets. Time is running out.” My interpretation is that we are very near the start of the tribulations that will precede the Second Coming. Revelations 7 says that angels are ready to pour vials of wrath upon the Earth. I believe this represents the tribulations that are meant to humble us. Like Moses in Egypt many plagues afflicted the Egyptians. If Pharaoh had listened and repented and let the Israelites free, the Egyptians would have been spared further afflictions. Only the last plague resulted in the loss of life. Likewise these trials are meant to humble us. We don’t want to continue to refuse to turn to God because of our stubbornness....

  My Purpose Blog Intro I started this blog series to keep it separate from our personal blog since it has a different goal than sharing family updates.  My purpose in this blog series is to seek to find truth and to look at the world in new ways to try to gain perspective. Also to discuss where I believe we’re at (in the scriptural prophesies) and talk about resources to know how to process emotions and not have fear. I recommend reading with an open mind and being willing to verify if what I’m saying is true or not. I also recommend praying for help to know what is true.  Some of this information is uncomfortable and takes a while to digest. This is related to signs that demonstrate where our world is heading. My goal is to help you develop greater faith that the future will be wonderful. The future is as bright as your faith!
